These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases from Casada Speed Equipment, a fictitious name operated by Old Crow Media LLC (“Casada Speed Equipment,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
- All Sales Are Final
All sales are final unless Casada Speed Equipment provides written authorization for a return. We do not accept returns or provide refunds because a customer changed their mind, ordered the wrong part, no longer needs the item, found a different price, dislikes the appearance of the item, or failed to confirm compatibility before ordering.
Do not return any item without first obtaining written return authorization from Casada Speed Equipment. Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.
- Nonreturnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
• Special-order, custom-built, modified, assembled, calibrated, coated, polished, or personalized products
• Carburetors, fuel-system components, or other parts that have been installed, mounted, disassembled, adjusted, altered, damaged, or exposed to fuel or other fluids
• Electrical or electronic components
• Clearance, closeout, discontinued, or final-sale products
• Products missing their original packaging, instructions, hardware, labels, or other included materials
• Products damaged by improper installation, misuse, contamination, neglect, racing, accident, or unauthorized modification
• Shipping charges, payment-processing costs, and other nonrecoverable fees, except where required by law
Deposits on custom-built, modified, assembled, or special-order products are nonrefundable once work has begun or the order has been placed with a supplier.
- Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery. Claims involving shipping damage, missing items, or an incorrect item must be reported to rick@casadaspeed.com within five calendar days after delivery.
Include your order number, a description of the problem, photographs of the product, photographs of the shipping carton and packaging, and photographs of any visible damage. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.
Do not install, modify, disassemble, or use an item that appears damaged or incorrect. Installation or use may prevent us from verifying the claim.
If we confirm that an item was damaged in shipment, defective when received, or shipped incorrectly, Casada Speed Equipment may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, repair the item, replace it, provide replacement parts, issue store credit, or refund the affected item.
- Authorized Exceptions
Casada Speed Equipment may approve a return as an exception, but is not required to do so. Any approved return must:
• Have prior written authorization and a return authorization number
• Be shipped by the deadline stated in the authorization
• Be new, unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in resalable condition
• Include all original packaging, instructions, hardware, and accessories
• Be securely packaged and shipped with tracking and adequate insurance
The customer is responsible for return shipping and assumes the risk of loss or damage during return transit. Approved discretionary returns are subject to a restocking fee of at least 25%, plus any supplier restocking charges, outbound shipping, payment-processing costs, and other nonrecoverable expenses. No credit will be issued until the returned item has been received and inspected.
- Fitment and Product Selection
The customer is responsible for confirming product fitment, compatibility, dimensions, specifications, intended application, and legal use before ordering. Vehicle modifications, production variations, aftermarket components, and prior repairs may affect fitment.
Recommendations from Casada Speed Equipment are based on information supplied by the customer and do not guarantee fitment or performance. Contact us before ordering if you are uncertain about an application.
- Installation and Use
Automotive and racing components must be installed, inspected, adjusted, and maintained by a qualified person. Improper installation or use may cause product failure, property damage, serious injury, or death.
Some products are intended solely for racing, competition, off-road, or other non-highway use. The customer is responsible for determining whether a product is lawful for the intended use and location.
The customer assumes responsibility for the installation and use of all products. Casada Speed Equipment is not responsible for labor charges, towing, vehicle downtime, loss of use, damage to other components, or other incidental or consequential expenses, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Manufacturer Warranties
Products manufactured by third parties are subject only to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, if any. Casada Speed Equipment does not provide an additional warranty unless expressly stated in writing.
Warranty claims may require inspection by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer’s procedures, exclusions, and final determination. Removal, installation, shipping, labor, and related expenses are not covered unless expressly provided by the manufacturer.
- Custom Builds and Deposits
Custom intake systems, carburetor assemblies, modified components, and other made-to-order work may require a deposit. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the deposit is 50% of the estimated price and becomes nonrefundable when parts are ordered or work begins.
The remaining balance and shipping charges must be paid before the completed order ships. Estimated completion dates are estimates and may change because of supplier availability, manufacturing delays, or circumstances outside our control.
- Prices, Availability, and Order Acceptance
Prices, descriptions, photographs, specifications, and availability may change without notice. We may correct errors, limit quantities, reject or cancel an order, or request additional verification. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount collected for the cancelled portion.
An order confirmation only acknowledges receipt of the order. It does not constitute final acceptance of the order.
- Shipping
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Casada Speed Equipment is not responsible for carrier delays, weather delays, incorrect addresses supplied by the customer, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Risk associated with an incorrect or incomplete shipping address supplied by the customer remains with the customer. Additional shipping costs caused by an address correction, refused delivery, or undeliverable shipment may be charged to the customer.
- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casada Speed Equipment and Old Crow Media LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from a product, order, installation, vehicle failure, racing activity, or use of this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
- Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in an appropriate court located in Missouri, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. The version posted on the website when an order is placed applies to that order.
